Posted On: 12/26/2020 I went there and it’s close. Imagine I have a toothache and I need relief and finding the place close. That’s ridiculous. Don’t go there on a Saturday even if they say it’s open. They have another place on 93rd, this place is close also. Rachel

Posted On: 12/21/2020 I had the best experience with the staff today at this location! I couldn’t be happier. Don and Doll helped me with getting my procedure set up, Nicole— the dental assistant— was absolutely delightful, and Dr. E answered all my questions and placed my mind at ease about my procedure! I hadn’t been to the dentist in a couple years and I am finally able to say I’m happy to be served by New York Family Dentistry! Kyhna D

Posted On: 10/03/2020 I usually see Dr. Alex who is very gentle and has been my dentist for the past 2 years however I saw Dr. Sandy for a filling and I actually really felt comfortable. She was very caring and gentle as well. I have no complaints about this Dentist office. They are punctual and take care of my family's teeth. M L

Posted On: 09/25/2020 👎👎I would not go there again. Please stay from these people. After they damaged my tooth, they advised me to go to CVS to get over the counter filling, so I could do it myself. After they will damage your tooth/teeth, they will offer you payment plan to fix the damaged they caused. 😩😭😤👎👎. I thanked you for letting me know you have 4 other locations in Queens. I'll not advise my worst enemy to go to any of your locations. I didn't give you 5 stars, your staff took my phone and write herself. Please asked your staff not call me again. If I have no choice, I'll do it myself, as one of your staff have suggested. ' Go to CVS get the filling, plug the holes. Please people don't there. Leah R

Posted On: 09/24/2020 I really am afraid of going to the dentist, but I'm glad my cousin told me about this place. Everyone was really nice, and they really tried to make sure I calmed down (did I mention how scared I am of dentists?? :-) When I got there there were two people at the desk. One had light hair - Patty, I think. She couldn't have been nicer! She explained about insurance and stuff, and took my mind off what was to come. She even introduced me to the people inside, and although they were kind of rushed they really treated me great. They saw how scared I was, but explained everything in detail, and it was over before i knew it!
So thanks again, from the front staff to the back, it really wasn't as terrifying as I thought. Roberta

Posted On: 09/23/2020 What a great experience I had. Listen I am one whose so afraid of visiting the Dentist. One of my friend told me about this place so I decided to visit this office. I must say I was IMPRESSED, the staff @1761 Rockaway Pkwy is TOP OF THE LINE very PROFESSIONAL, they are welcoming and is always willing to HELP I must say thank you to Patti, Annie, Abdiel, Ty, Nicole, Henry and Doll whom I meet at my first visit.Thank you Guys for your great service and for making sure that I am being taking care of. Posted On: 09/23/2020 I decided to give this dentist office a try based on the many positive reviews, even though I had a problem at their queens location. I saw the same young lady that helped me out in queens walking to her car. I was able to find out that my insurance is one of the over 500 accepted by this facility and will be calling to set up an appointment as soon as I get my new insurance card and a day off from my job. Posted On: 08/10/2020 Horrible. I went in for a toothache and they told me I needed an extraction and had an infection. They told me they would prescribe me ibuprofen however when I went to the pharmacy 3 days later no prescription was ever made. Furthermore never prescribed me antibiotics. When I called asking if I have an infection why would they leave me in pain & not prescribe any antibiotics. They had no answer for me. They had me all over the place for days in pain. Mimi

Posted On: 07/28/2020 Dr Alex is great. Love his work. As for the office and a staff member by the name of “Patty” terrible. I believe Patty is the receptionist. I have had office visit prior which went very will. I have a tooth that needed to get approved by my insurance. Which it was. Patty called on July 25th to tell me that they had a appointment open on the 31 of August. I explained that I’m in pain and need early date. Which I also had an appointment on August 19th which I forgot to mention to Patty on the phone. I told patty that August 31 is too late I’ll get the tooth taken care of else where. I realize that I had and appointment on the 19th so I called to see if I can use that date for the tooth procedure. I must have called 4 to 5 time and gotten different excuses which didn’t make sense. Until finally they transfer me to Patty and she expressed I’m no long a client of their and can’t come to any of their offices. I asked why... patty stated you opt to go to another dentist. I said I was gonna get my procedure I needed sooner. So I asked what about my fillings. Patty stated that she told her manager Jess that I no longer wanted to be seen. I tried to explain I’m not getting the root canal done by you guy butt I still want my fillings done. Patty said Your no long a client and she’s just doing what her manager Jess Instructed her to do. I even went above and beyond to explain this is a miscommunication. She was very condescending. I just had to accepted I’m no longer a patient. I call to request my records and X-ray to go to another dentist. I email/call them all day to get my records. They tell me to come to the office to get the record. I get to the office and now I have to email Jess who I’ve been emailing all day and wait for her to get back to me. Like I said Dr Alex is great. But that Patty she’s something else. I really feel like it’s a discrimination thing but it’s no other explanation. I also have recordings of our encounter. Latoya B
